Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett Announces Three California Solo Shows for December 2026

Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett has announced a short run of solo shows in California this December, marking his first solo dates in a couple of years.

The three-show run begins at the HopMonk Session Room in Novato on December 16, followed by a December 17 date in Templeton, before Shiflett returns to Santa Barbara for his Hometown Holiday Hoedown at Soho on December 18.

The Santa Barbara show also marks the return of Shiflett’s annual hometown event after a break of the past couple of years.

“It’s been a couple years since I’ve done any solo shows and I’ve missed it a lot. Looking forward to getting the band back together in the rehearsal room and seeing what we come up with for December,” Shiflett said.

The dates arrive as Shiflett prepares to head to Nashville to record his next solo album. His most recent full-length solo release was Lost At Sea, issued through Blue Élan Records in 2023, followed by the Starry Nights & Campfire Lights EP in March 2024.

Outside Foo Fighters, Shiflett’s solo material draws heavily from country, Americana and rock, while his wider career has also included spells with No Use For a Name and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.
