Don Felder joins Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman for North American Takin’ It Back Tour

Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder has joined Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman for the North American Takin’ It Back Tour, which is now underway and runs through August.

The run began in Canada and continues with dates in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary and Edmonton before moving into the U.S. later this month. Felder will also appear at Milwaukee’s Summerfest on June 20, listed as a Don Felder-only festival date, before rejoining the tour on June 25 in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Felder recently released The Vault – Fifty Years of Music, and says the tour gives him another chance to bring the songs back to longtime listeners.

“There’s nothing like playing these songs live for audiences who’ve carried them with them for generations,” says Felder. “Getting to share the stage with Burton and Randy every night is going to make this tour something really special for classic rock fans.”

Alongside his work as a guitarist, singer and songwriter, Felder is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and the author of the memoir Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles. His credits also include music for Heavy Metal and the CBS animated series Galaxy High, along with session work for artists including Bee Gees, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, Andy Gibb and Stevie Nicks.
