IGORRR announce European headline tour for March and April 2027

IGORRR have announced a new European headline tour for spring 2027, with a run of dates across France, Switzerland, Croatia, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany and the Netherlands.

The tour gets underway at Headbang Festival in Aix-en-Provence, France on March 13 and concludes at La Laiterie in Strasbourg on April 4. Secret Chiefs 3 and Fange will join IGORRR for the run.

The announcement follows the release of IGORRR’s latest album, Amen, which is out now via Metal Blade Records.

Led by French multi-instrumentalist and producer Gautier Serre, IGORRR have spent the past two decades combining elements of extreme metal, electronic music, classical composition and other styles into a sound that has remained deliberately difficult to categorise.

Amen also features a number of guest appearances, including Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, Mr. Bungle’s Trey Spruance and Mike Leon of CKY, formerly of Soulfly.

Speaking about the direction of the record, Serre said: “This album is definitely darker than its predecessors, it has such a very weighty and solemn vibe that has never been reached before in IGORRR. The fact that I recorded a real choir in a church helped this a lot, but above all there has been very long and meticulous work on the sound and the choice of instruments, and deep experimental research to create a unique sound design.”

He added that tracks including “Blastbeat Falafel” and “ADHD” provide a deliberate contrast to the record’s heavier atmosphere.

IGORRR’s previous album, Spirituality And Distortion, arrived in 2020 and reached No. 12 on the German album chart.

The newly announced dates are:
