Exeter trio pushbike announce their Little Bastard EP, out October 9 via The Bird Records, and share new single “Pure Hate” ahead of a UK tour.
Exeter trio pushbike have announced their new Little Bastard EP, set for release on October 9 through The Bird Records.
The four-track EP will be the band’s first release for the label, which comes from Charlie Wayne of Black Country, New Road and Mita De. Its first single, “Pure Hate”, has also been released alongside B-side “Captain On The Bridge”.
Recorded in Bristol with Jack Ogborne, whose credits include The New Eves, Nina Winder-Lind and Naima Bock, Little Bastard runs for less than ten minutes and draws on the band’s mix of indie rock, emo, hardcore and power pop.
The EP features “Pure Hate”, “Rainham Steel”, “I Am The Pilot” and “Go Ahead”. A limited physical release on 10-inch vinyl and cassette is also planned.
pushbike — George Gravell on vocals and guitar, Niall Ivie on vocals and guitar, and Tom Grogan on drums — will follow the release with four UK shows in October.
The dates begin at Alphabet in Brighton on October 13, followed by Aces and Eights in London on October 14, Kamera in Manchester on October 15 and Variety Bar in Glasgow on October 16. Further live dates are expected to be announced.
