Gibson Garage London Announces Free June Acoustic Sessions

Gibson Garage London has announced three free acoustic performances for June, with Karina Ramage, Clarissa Mae and Alex Francis all set to appear at the brand’s Eastcastle Street store this month.

The sessions will take place on the lower-level stage at Gibson Garage London, located at 61–62 Eastcastle Street, just off Oxford Street. Karina Ramage performs on Tuesday, June 9, followed by Clarissa Mae on Tuesday, June 23, with both sets running from 5:30pm to 6:00pm. Alex Francis will perform on Thursday, June 25, from 2:00pm to 2:30pm.

The first two performances are presented in partnership with Busk In London, the city initiative supporting live music and buskers. Ramage is a London-based singer-songwriter, guitarist and composer whose background includes years of busking along the Southbank, before moving into songwriting and composition for film and television.

Clarissa Mae, a Scottish-Filipino singer-songwriter from Bromley, brings an acoustic pop approach to the June line-up. She first gained recognition as the youngest winner of the GIGS Mayor of London competition, and has since performed at venues and events including the V&A Museum, OVO Arena Wembley and the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.

Alex Francis closes the month’s run with a lunchtime set on June 25. The soul-influenced singer-songwriter has previously shared stages with Stereophonics, Alanis Morissette and Sting, and has also recorded an official duet with Melanie C.

The June performances form part of Gibson Garage London’s regular events programme, which also includes free Saturday guitar lessons. The store is open Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
