The HU have released the official video for their new single “Grey Hun”, taken from their forthcoming third album HUN, which arrives July 24 via Better Noise Music.
The Mongolian band — Galaa, Jaya, Enkush and Temka — continue to build on their Hunnu Rock sound, combining traditional Mongolian instrumentation and throat singing with heavy rock arrangements. “Grey Hun” follows the recent single “Lost Soul”, which features Jonny Hawkins of Nothing More.
According to Enkush, the new track was written around the idea of self-acceptance.
“Grey Hun” is a song that encourages everyone to be comfortable with just being themselves. It started with composing the riff as I imagined a man riding his horse through a vast landscape,” states Enkush. “From there, it took a while for us to finish the song because we wanted to make sure to clearly communicate the positive message of the song.”
The band say they have taken their time with HUN, their first full-length album since 2022’s Rumble Of Thunder.
“We took our time to do this right, and we’re so glad that we’re almost ready to release what we have worked on these past few years,” the band says. “Now, we are also focusing on the performances and working out a brand-new setlist. We want to play bigger venues so we can do extensive production, and bring in some amazing elements of our culture, and play these ideas to our fans. And, as well as our third album, we have some amazing ideas for another album already!”
HUN will be released digitally and on CD worldwide on July 24. Vinyl editions and box set variants are due to follow on September 11, including standard vinyl, indie exclusive vinyl, band webstore exclusive vinyl and several regional retailer variants.
The album’s track listing is:
“Warrior Chant”
“Lost Soul”
“The Men”
“Echoes of My Father”
“Shadow”
“Horsemen”
“Greed”
“The Real You”
“Grey Hun”
“Universe”

The version of “Lost Soul” featuring Jonny Hawkins of Nothing More will appear only on the digital edition of HUN.
